Owner & Head Skills Trainer: Kyle Impero

iHOOP Training, formerly known as KI Hoops: Elite Training, is owned and operated by Kyle Impero. He opened Whatcom County’s first basketball-focused training facility in 2018. Kyle was born in 1993 and is a Whatcom County native, who has had a strong passion for the game of basketball ever since the 1st grade. It was then that he started playing organized basketball against older competition, and from that point on, he knew basketball was something he wanted to pursue. Through hard work and dedication, he earned himself a basketball scholarship to Western Washington University after graduating high school.

Since 2018, coach Kyle Impero has worked with over 1,000 players, ranging from the pro and college levels to as young as 3rd grade. He has trained players from their middle school years and helped guide them toward achieving their goal of playing college basketball.
