Cancellation Policy

All cancellation requests must be submitted through the official Cancellation Request Form. Requests will be reviewed and processed according to our policy below.

This policy applies to all iHOOP programs, memberships, events, training options, camps, clinics, and multi-week sessions unless otherwise stated during registration.

General Policy
  • No Cash Refunds: iHOOP does not issue cash refunds for any cancellations.
  • Credits: Credits are not automatically granted and are subject to approval and availability. If a credit is issued, it may only be applied to future iHOOP programs within the timeframe specified at the time of approval.
  • Planning & Scheduling: Please note that program funds are often allocated in advance (for facility, staffing, and equipment). Allowing refunds or credits outside this policy could impact scheduling, planning, and limit the number of spots available for future programs.
Cancellations
  • 7 Days Prior: Cancellations made at least 7 days prior to the program start date will receive a 75% refund of the total amount paid (excluding the deposit). Refunds are issued as account credit or a gift card and must be used within 6 months of the issue date.
  • Within 6 Days: Cancellations made within 6 days of the start date are not eligible for a refund or credit.
  • Missed Sessions: No refunds or credits are given for missed sessions/days. Select programs or events may offer make-up sessions, which will be outlined at registration.
  • Private Training: No refunds or credits are available for cancelled private training sessions *unless stated otherwise. Please refer to your Contract Agreement at the time of registration for specifics.
  • Court Rentals: No refunds or credits are available for cancelled court rental sessions *unless stated otherwise. Please refer to your Contract Agreement at the time of registration for specifics.
  • Deposits: Deposits are non-refundable and are not eligible for credits.
Cancellations by iHOOP
  • If iHOOP cancels a program or session, participants will be offered make-up sessions or the option of a full credit or full refund, prorated based on the portion canceled.
  • iHOOP reserves the right to cancel training sessions with a minimum of 3 hours notice, and camps/clinics/workshops with at least 48 hours notice. Reasonable efforts will be made to provide advance notice beyond these timeframes.
Weather & Holidays
  • Weather: iHOOP generally follows local school closures due to severe weather, but not in all cases. Updates will be communicated by email.
  • Heat: If temperatures reach 90° or higher, iHOOP will send an update regarding that day’s sessions.
  • Holidays: iHOOP is closed for major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, and Memorial Day Weekend). All other holidays remain as scheduled unless otherwise posted – see schedule details at the time of registration.
