THE ACADEMY MODEL
Academy training is programmed around the development of the group. Sessions continually train the skills, movements, decision-making, scoring concepts, and basketball habits players need to build and maintain a strong overall game.
Players receive individual coaching and live corrections throughout training, but the Academy curriculum is not individually programmed around one or two specific development needs for every player.
| Structured group training. Individual coaching. Consistent skill development. |
WHAT WE TRAIN
Academy sessions continually develop the tools players need across the game rather than narrowing the program around one isolated skill or one individual player’s current priority.
| BALL CONTROL | FOOTWORK | SHOOTING | SCORING | DECISION-MAKING |
THE STANDARD
Academy is a focused training environment. Players should arrive ready to learn, respond to coaching, train with purpose, and respect the training environment. The Academy is designed for players who can participate productively in a faster-paced small-group setting.
| Ready to learn. Coachable. Focused. Consistent. |
SCHEDULE & COMMITMENT
Academy players train twice per week on their division’s fixed scheduled training days. Registration reserves the player’s spot in that division for the full 8 weeks.
Players should register only if they can consistently attend both weekly sessions. The Academy is not designed around weekly schedule changes or rotating attendance between alternate training times.
MAKE-UP SESSIONS
Three designated make-up opportunities are available during the Fall Academy for players who miss a regularly scheduled Academy session. Make-up sessions are for previously missed sessions and are not optional third weekly training sessions.
| Friday, October 23 5:30-6:30pm | Friday, November 6 5:30-6:30pm | Friday, November 13 5:30-6:30pm |

QUICK FAQ
Can I switch Academy days from week to week?
No. Players train on their division’s fixed Monday/Wednesday
schedule.
What happens if I miss a session?
Use one of the designated Fall make-up opportunities. Make-ups replace missed sessions; they are not additional weekly training.
Does Academy include prescribed DIY workouts or Independent Development Access?
No. Academy is built around two structured in-person skills training sessions each week. Prescribed DIY programming and Independent Development Access are part of the Development Lab model.
Will I still receive individual coaching?
Yes. Players receive individual feedback and corrections throughout Academy sessions. The curriculum follows group progression rather than being individually programmed around one or two specific needs for each player.
